Polyjacking, slab leveling, crack repair, resurfacing. Honest about when a repair lasts — and when a tear-out is the cheaper long-term call.
| Polyjacking (foam) | $5–$15 / sq ft |
| Mudjacking (slurry) | $3–$7 / sq ft |
| Minimum service call | $400–$1,500 |
| Crack repair (per lin ft) | $10–$25 / ft |
| Resurfacing (micro-topping) | $3–$7 / sq ft |
| Free assessment | $0 |
If you're not sure whether it's a repair or a tear-out, the free assessment will tell you. We'll show our math.
What it is: Expanding polyurethane foam injected through small holes drilled in the slab. Foam expands to fill voids and lift the slab.
What it is: A cement-soil-water slurry pumped under the slab to lift it.
For most Pflugerville driveways and sidewalks we recommend polyjacking — the clay soil punishes mudjacking, and the do-over five years later eats the savings. We'll quote both if it's a close call.
Some slabs you can keep alive. Others are throwing money at the symptom. Honest read on when each one applies:
Edge case: foundation movement from your house affecting the driveway. That's a foundation specialist's call, not a concrete repair. We'll refer you out.
"Walkway by the side gate had sunk three inches. They polyjacked it instead of pushing a full tear-out. Honest pricing and did exactly what they said. Walked on it the same day."
"Got two other quotes that pushed a full driveway replacement. These guys assessed it and said the slab was sound — just needed crack repair and resurfacing. Saved us $4K."
"Opposite story — our patio was beyond repair and they said so straight. No upselling on a slab that wouldn't hold. Tore it out and repoured."
Polyjacking: $5–$15 per sq ft. Mudjacking: $3–$7 per sq ft. Most jobs hit a $400–$1,500 minimum. Crack repair: $10–$25 per linear foot.
For Pflugerville clay soil: polyjacking. Lasts 20+ years, lightweight, won't wash out. Mudjacking is cheaper but lifespan is 5–10 years here. We'll quote both if it's close.
Depends on the crack. Hairline: epoxy injection. Wider: rout-and-seal with polyurethane. Vertical displacement or pattern cracking across the whole slab: tear-out and repour is usually cheaper long-term.
Pattern cracking, multiple inches of displacement, sub-base failure under most of the slab, or slab over 30 years old and broadly failing. We'll tell you straight — lying loses our reputation faster than it earns one job.
Polyjacking: same day, walkable in 15 minutes, driveable in 24 hours. Crack repair: same day. Resurfacing: 2–4 days depending on size and weather.
If your house foundation is moving and pushing the driveway/patio with it, you have a foundation problem. Fixing the slab without addressing the cause is throwing money away. We refer to foundation specialists when we see this pattern.
No-pressure walk-through. We'll tell you which slabs are worth saving and which aren't, and show the math either way.
